Juliette

Juliette

Juliette came to Rainbow Meadows as one of "9 Lives." Seized in a rural Kansas cruelty case in March of 2009, Juliette found neglected and at great risk. Nearly full-term in foal, Juliette was severely emaciated, heavily parasitized, lice infested, and virtually untouched. She gave birth to Romeo, who sadly only survived 10 days due complications from the severe malnutrition of his dam during his development. Juliette was of the unique Curly breed, and went on to her adoptive home where she was loved and cared for until a pasture accident cut her life short. Thanks to the generosity of her adopters, she knew kindness and trust, something she was a stranger to when she came to Rainbow Meadows.
