DR Krystal Key

A former show horse from Nebraska, Krystal has had a number of owners in her lifetime. Her most recent owner accepted responsibility for her care after Krystal's previous owner found herself in financial duress and unable to continue her care. When it became apparent that Krystal was spending her time languishing in the pasture due to time constraints, her new owner began looking for opportunities to rehome her. However, finding a "perfect home" was the priority and the time required to find that home was too high. A decision was made to evaluate rescues, with a plan to surrender Krystal to the rescue, allowing the rescue to rehome her. After review of numerous facilities, Rainbow Meadows was selected to be her new guardians until her "forever home" can be identified. Krystal can be nervous during saddling but performs well when ridden. She is tightly herd bound and would do best in a two horse home.
