Welcome to the ranch!

Rainbow Meadows Ranch

The horses run on verdant hills,

Loved at last their spirit fills,

With love and joy all found their home,

No more to fear now free to roam.

They found their home from far and near,

These kindest hearts do hold them dear,

All sadness gone and in the past,

Forever loved and safe at last.

Horses old and young in peace now stay,

In fields of green they run today,

For love so great has saved each one,

This light of love outshines the sun.

Rainbow Meadows Herd

At Rainbow Meadows Ranch, the rolling hills and lush pastures of the Kansas Osage Hills offer
a safe and peaceful refuge for our equine friends.

Rainbow Meadows Ranch is located in the beautiful Osage Hills of Chautauqua County, Kansas, near the town of Sedan. It is home for Karen and David Everhart, and is dedicated to man's trusty steed - the horse. The ranch takes its name from Karen's first horse, Rainbow, who lived her final days at Rainbow Meadows before being laid to rest at the age of 33.

Rainbow Meadows Ranch offers a number of services. It is home to Horse Calls, LLC, a small business that offers both horse and rider training and conditioning. Custom saddle fitting is also offered through Horse Calls as are a number of other equine care and communication training services. In addition, Rainbow Bridge offers a location for your loving horse to be laid to rest in the case of its death.

Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue and Retirement, Inc., located on the ranch, serves as a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned horses as well as a home for retired equine friends.

Rainbow Meadows Ranch truly is where the horse comes first...
